Are you looking for an amazing retreat? Look no further. From the beautiful cabin, to the fabulous porches. Inside and out there are endless activities and amenities. Our family really enjoyed our little getaway after Christmas. Loved the holiday decorations and all the fun activities. My sons(16yrs & 20yrs) enjoyed the scavenger hunt and rock painting. We explored the area during day and enjoyed our evenings around the fire pit and in the hot tub. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. My husband and I spent a few days here and had everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing mountain getaway. The location was perfect—quiet, right on the river with a beautiful view, and it felt very secluded while still being close enough to Boone for great restaurants and breweries. We especially enjoyed using the grill, spending time on the patio overlooking the river, and unwinding in the clean, relaxing hot tub. It was also so great that the home is dog-friendly, we were finally able to bring our dogs along for a vacation, which made the trip even more special. Lori was a great host, providing helpful info and instructions. The place was clean, comfortable, and the hosts really thought of everything! We would absolutely stay here again and are already looking forward to coming back!

We had a great stay! The kids really enjoyed the interactive activates. They added our dog’s photo to the dog wall, painted rocks, and completed the scavenger hunt. We were in town for Open House at App State. The days we were not on campus we really enjoyed the property. Would stay here again! Thank you Lori!

Unwind in the game room, ideal for fun-filled memories. Current Hideaway is perfect for a blissful escape in the heart of the Smokey Mountains.

The space

BEDROOMS: Three bedrooms, sleeps 8

KITCHEN: A fully stocked kitchen awaits you which includes, an air fryer, rice cooker, blender, mixer, crockpot, and a Duo Keurig (drip + K-cups). Enough coffee will be provided for your first morning. Spices, olive oil, and some condiments are provided.
DOGS: We are a dog-friendly house with a fenced in dog run. Dog tie-outs, blankets, towels, dishes, bathroom bags, and a leash are provided.
GAME ROOM: Downstairs you will find a fooseball table, 50″ TV, and dozens of board games. Enjoy spikeball or cornhole outside. Go back in time with a classic Ninetendo ES, loaded with dozens of games that will bring back memories. Or, challenge each other to a game of classic PacMan.
HOT TUB: The hot tub is surrounded by patio lights and overlooks the scenic Mountain View’s with the river below. The hot tub is cleaned after each use and the fee is included in the total cleaning fee.
OUTSIDE: Enjoy provided kayaks, fishing poles, and tubes. Cool off with a swim in the river. There are two firepits for you to enjoy in the evening. Roast some marshmallows or build yourself a s’more. Bring your own firewood or pick up some at a local store. A grill with propane is available, and enjoy a peaceful meal at the outdoor dining table.

AWD or 4WD may be required during winter months.
